Some winter pictures

Today it was -14 C (7 F).
It was a beautiful sunny day, and not so cold today.

This is one of our town parks, near the bus station.

When it's really cold, you can warm yourself by the fireplace here.
There is no fire in the fireplace now, because it wasn't that cold today.

A plumber man

Today I bought a cap "Puff Cap" at Bik Bok. The price was 129 krona ( £9,23) but it was on sale 70 %. So I paid only 38,50 krona (£2,72) for it. That was really cheap!

When I came home, a van was outside my house, it was the plumber. I thought the broken pipe in the basement was fixed already? They came last week to repair it. Apparently it's not fixed yet.

When I came inside my door, someone rang on my door. It was the plumber man. He told me I can't flush my toilet tonight. For how long? He wasn't sure, maybe until late tonight? Ok, I know now.

So, I can't flush my toilet now. I hope they will fix the pipe by tomorrow, so everything can go back to normal again.

Deaflympic 2007

Deaflympic 2007 in Salt Lake City, USA on February 1st - 10th.

Focus-5 , a news programme for deaf, is reporting live from Winter Deaflympic.

They are signing in International Sign Language.
Link: www.focus-5.tv (click on "Live")

I love this program Focus-5, because it's easy to understand their International Sign Language and they always have good news. And... the guys are gorgeous too... of course I'm watching their news! *lol*

Good luck to Focus-5 over there!

UPDATE: I found more news from Deaflympics. DeafNation also reports from Deaflympic. Little hard to find the video-news, click on Deaflympic TV, then Video, and you should find the videos there. They sign in International Sign Language too.
